Every Thought Captiveby *PersistentLight

Did this drawing in pastel in painting from the unconscious class on a HUGE sheet of watercolor paper. This process of drawing started out with random marks on paper and through abstract marking you see images in them and begin to develop them, this is what i saw. It reminded me of a Bible verse and that's what's been in my head when I was drawing this. It was also what I was going through spiritually.

The peice is titled "Every Thought Captive"

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV)

That's both struggling thoughts with the chains and the brain, and bringing thoughts to be captive of Jesus (who actually stes them free, right?)

Amen, He breaks those thoughts putting all things in their rightful place. Its a spiritual battle and he removes those strongholds in our hearts and renews our minds.Bringing our thoughts back on Him. Victory is in Him.
